INNOVATIVE, FAST AND CONVENIENT
Our new distribution system is based in two different systems: automatic smart trucks and grocery trucks.
AUTOMATIC SMART TRUCKS
These are a self-driving vehicles that work thanks to the NVDIA autonomous drive platform, an artificial intelligence system with the followed characteristics:

automatic unlocking of the vehicle;

surround perception to alert the driver to hazards;

gesture recognition for user controls;

natural language understanding for voice control;
-
gaze tracking for driver distraction alerts.
Called Robomart, these vehicles will work as both the Esselunga deliveries trucks (esseCASA) and as a small grocery store that goes to you (esseVOI).
GROCERY TRUCKS
The Esselunga Grocery Trucks will be circulation the city of Milan twice a day in 2 different spots per area:

first stop: from 8.00 - 16.00;

second stop: from 16.00 - 20.00.
In this case, our offer is more diversified (selling both fresh products and our private labels) and flexible (customized to each area's need and/or desire). The trucks are made to be easily opened and closed, so that the stops will be transformed into a "street market" style. Also, two personal staff will be available to help and inform the customers. The esseNOI service is ideal for those who wish to choose their food in person.
